Under the Hindu nationalist govt, India has seen a sharp rise in food-related atrocities. In direct patronage of the ruling party, vegetarian "terrorism" is growing. Beginning with Muslims, all non-vegetarians are now regularly singled out in the name of Hindu culture, especially in northern India.
