Christina and I have started our first PADI Open Water diving session with some theory, then the swimming pool and, at last, one hour in the sea in the beautiful bay of Mahebourg in Mauritius where we were lucky to meet an adult sea turtle and countless fish.

It was an amazing experience.

On Monday 2 December 2024, I had the privilege of being invited by the PTA and management of the Abdul Hamid Golam Mohamed Issac State Secondary School in Port-Louis, Mauritius, to share my thoughts with educators on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence in the Education Sector.”

I was in Abuja, Nigeria, to participate in the Going Global Africa 2024 conference, focusing on the Future of Education in the African Continent. This event was organised by the British Council of Nigeria in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education of Nigeria from 26 to 28 November 2024.
