I made a huge mistake. I thought the new tank will fit on my shelf even if it has to hang off the side by an inch or so, but it's actually going to be *deeper* in addition to wider. On the plus side, the new larger shelf I just ordered can have my kingsnake's tank on it too.

I got absolutely eviscerated at Petsmart today just buying superworms and crickets. Good thing I already have a bulk supply of mice and fish food cubes in my freezer. It's going to get fucking rough.
