I think it’s going to be much different from the other Absolute series mainly because, at least for now, there’s no superhero backstory. No superhero goals. Just a guy with a concussion and an unreliable visual narrative.

Just read Absolute Martian Manhunter and I really like the visual synesthesia style they’re going for. Much different from the other Absolute series so far!
Also I read digitally so I decided to recreate a composite image of the last two pages to make it look like it would holding it up to a light

I’m not enjoying the new voice for Lycaon. I think he was a good choice for the younger version of Lycaon, and comes through at times with the elegant accent, but there’s no bite! No grit! No growl! I’m not upset that it’s a change on its own but something sounds hollow about him now. Too reserved.

not sure if you were looking for an answer, though the basic templates I’m familiar with are 4-panel format (as is or in a row) and the 3 panel which can be split up into smaller pieces or have split parts of some panels stretch over the other 3rds for how long each moment in a panel “feels”
