Don't forget that when you're fired you lose health insurance so if you have any chronic issues you go broke that much faster! So fun.

I have read it. I hope you are correct but remain concerned that we are headed to a constitutional crisis with Trump not following the orders and the Court using weasel words like "facilitate" to make it appear Trump has complied enough for their satisfaction. Time will tell.

Facilitate is not the same thing as actually bringing them back. The administration claimed "The United States does not control the sovereign nation of El Salvador" and they'll stick with this to say they're trying but can't make it happen. There's also no deadline for it which makes it meaningless.

Definitely still worth calling! Even if all it accomplishes is him being quieter about it, that means he's providing less cover for others. Little changes can ripple (and you won't make him *worse*)

Theater. Cause a scene on the floor, put on press conferences, push media to do better, hold town halls and organize your constituents (and not just to donate! Help connect people with local orgs they can support and show up for!) Food drives for laid off federal workers...

Doesn't have to take them out if they are puppets who do everything he says. Putin has gone back and forth between president and prime minister with the other role occupied by loyalists. He also has a supreme court.

You can call your reps during off hours and leave a voicemail if that's easier. I also found that it helped me to know that they just turn whatever I say into a tally mark in a column. So saying it more eloquently vs stumbling awkwardly through it doesn't change the impact one bit.
