It was really fun! Honestly I’ve felt kind of tired of long-form commander gameplay videos lately, but this little twist really made it interesting and kept me engaged with actively watching. Would be cool to see y’all add some interesting twists like this to Game Knights sometime!

Would it be too clunky to just create a nonlegendary creature with “this creature can be your commander” or something like that? Not super elegant but would work better for 60 card formats and could still be interesting in the sense that it lets you make copies/clones of it easier

I really like rolling Hamsphere from bloomburrow. I specifically like playing it with Gogo, Master of Mimicry and copying the attack trigger like 6-8 times to initiate what I like to call “Hamstergeddon.” I just love the idea of killing my opponents with a massive ball of hamsters

Not saying it’s a good decision, but isn’t the main reason Google is a monopoly because of its Ad business? Like even if chrome was spun off separately I don’t know that it would meaningfully change the rest of their profits or market share really.

I raise you space-time anomaly. I just played a 2HG prerelease and played space-time anomaly on turn 4, milled an opponent for 30 and instantly won lmao (I’ll grant it’s definitely *way* more broken in 2HG versus normal 1v1 sealed)

Yeah that’s much closer to an actual answer to heavy ramp strategies, means they would actually have to spend time re-ramping rather than just a single land reanimation spell

I don’t think this is a good answer to green ramp, in fact it probably is the most effective *in* a green ramp deck. Just play this card, wipe like 2-4 lands from the non-green players, then play a splendid reclamation or lumra or whatever, get all your lands back and retrigger landfalls etc.

Okay but I might actually take the switch 2 (just so I don’t have to buy it when the next Zelda game comes out, Zelda is literally the only reason I own Nintendo consoles)

In the context of a giveaway I’d probably still take the collector booster box since I don’t have to pay for it. I don’t play consoles at all (I play all my games on PC) so I probably wouldn’t use the PS5, whereas the alternative is that I potentially pull some cards I otherwise would buy as singles

Okay but maybe we just think they should consider standard bans more than once per year? Like I want to be excited for Tarkir standard, but I’m worried I’m just gonna either die to some stupid mice while playing my tapped tri-lands or just get out-valued by some beans

It’s just cause in enforcers the main backline carry is Caitlyn, and her power is in her ult, and she spends a lot of time casting (and not stacking guinsoos). You’re better off with stuff like IE and GS to scale her damage, and a shojin to make her cast more

Oh yeah you’re right for Tristana. It is good on Maddie, but I just don’t think shes worth rerolling. you’re better off just using her as a twitch item holder, or playing enforcer in which case you don’t want guinsoos. It is also good on Draven if you’re doing violet reroll.

Compared to past sets it’s not a super high priority item this set, it’s pretty much only a kogmaw, twitch, and zoe item for this patch, and you only really prioritize it if you’re playing the former two.
