I feel fairly confident she would have remained a fairly unremarkable villain, but any one of these designs would elevate her insanely high

She is a larger woman, with an extravagant outfit, a cane, small heels, fishnet leggings and sleeves, a feathery scarf, and a huge headband with moth-like decorations. Medusa here is even larger, with a feathery waistband, small necklace, and a Joker-like smile engulfing her face. She wears a bun and a small tiara, and here has an incredibly prominent nose and smaller chin Completely different concept art of Medusa. Her skin is darker and her eyes are much, much paler. Her hands and fingers are long and thin, her curly hair is stark white, and her face is rather skull-like, similar to her inspiration, Cruella De Vil. A large bracelet hangs off her wrist. She is holding an early version of Penny tightly in her arms, off to the side, giving her a wicked smile as she scratches the girl’s chin. Two colored, more finished pictures of the previous Medusa.
