Redouté (1759-1840), a French painter, was known as the “Raphael of Flowers”. In 1827, he began painting a series of flower botanicals. These book plates were printed in Czechoslovakia in 1985.

This vintage Cookson Pottery planter has a lime sherbert green colored glaze. It is a drip glaze piece with the rim dipped in a lighter greenish white glaze. Cookson Pottery operated in Roseville, OH from 1945 to 1987.

This antique etching by Frank Anderson (1844-1891), a Hudson River School Artist, depicts children fishing. A very nice etching by a well-known Hudson River painter.

This antique, metal, hand painted clock dial was made in Connecticut in the 1800’s. Clock faces were painted by various artists, mostly unknown, as a member of a clock making assembly line.

This vintage copper bowl resembles a maple leaf and was made by master silversmith, Alfredo Sciarrotta (1907-1985), of Newport, Rhode Island. The piece is signed on the bottom "24 Sciarrotta Hand Made Newport, R.I.". It is made of heavy gauge copper. Sciarrotta pieces are highly collectible.
