all the time. even my own family until my artwork got to an 'acceptable' level of good enough for them. now they just pretend they have always supported me.

BUT if none of the names call to me or seem to fit I will absolutely take weeks or months fine-tuning a name for the OC. Since all of my OCs have reincarnations and stuff, I will go through mythology, history, old languages, scientific terminology, etc depending on their lineage and personal motif!
