I keep telling myself my backgrounds are bad... but then again i script, sketch, ink, color, shade, and run social media alone...
if you're one person making a comic by yourself, don't treat yourself like you should function on the same level as comics that have multiple people working on them. your backgrounds can be squiggles and colors.
allow yourself room to be abstract with details and give yourself some grace
