battlerite is (more or less was, its effectively dead now) a 3v3/ 2v2 top-down pvp teamfight game. effectively a moba with all the pve and map management cut out. it is tightly designed, matches are quick, and it's an absolute joy to hit your buttons on people. fuck the battle royale mode.

enderal: forgotten stories is a skyrim mod that is functionally a different rpg built out from skyrim's bones. the lead writer "experimented with lucid dreaming" before working on the campaign and it shows. the game designers are perverts for Gothic, and implemented similar progression

tribes ascend i miss you every day. i never played the other tribes games and i wasnt very good at this one, but the skiing > jetpack movement feels better than any traversal i've done in a pvp game. hitting a blue plate special made me feel like a god
