Have you watched them play? He blows up more offensive possessions and just about anyone else. and he can switch one through five. Who else do you know can cover both joker and Shay?

No. It's because the metrics show that the team is measurably worse when JK plays with JB. The on/off metrics are clear. Houston is a more athletic team, so he may get minutes if the Dubs look too old and slow. But until JK is a consistent rebounder and defender he will struggle for minutes.

Have you looked at the on/off numbers when JK plays with JB and Steph? They are awful. Kerr is playing those two most of the game - and he has good reason to now want to play JK with them. The Rockers are a different match up, so we will see.

The problem is can JK perform with Dray or JB - so far, it's not been pretty.

Klay is not longer a valid 2nd scoring option. We had this problem last year as well. Jordan also sucked last year - though he's better this year. But his D is still awful -just watch a Wizards game
