And the BIG one for 2026: the first full overseas Aviation Cultures Conference, 'AvCultures Canada'. This will be in mid 2026, Canada based, aiming for hybrid online and live, and embedded in some great Canadian heritage aviation. As in the pic, it's a small start, but it'll grow. More soon! -JDK

'Print the Legend' run by Andy Wright of @aircrewbookreview.bsky.social will be a chance to look at the changes from the 'Boy's Own' pilot bios of the 1950s to today's much more nuanced examinations of outstanding aviators. Wait! There's more: including company 'bios', and other 'legends' vs facts.
February 27, 2025 at 10:36 AM
'Logbooks & AvDocs' will be run by myself (JDK) and @philthyavnurd.bsky.social and will be a mix of useful resources and discussion, on using primary aviation sources for research, as well as real case studies by experts - authors, historians, archivists. Worldwide in scope. Jot a note to follow up!
