Sorry there isn’t a direct method. For me, even when I was working in the advertising world, it was always a struggle with presentation booklets. It always takes some trial/error and every printer is different.

If allll else fails and you don’t have those options you can do a janky fix; adjust your artwork to account for the slide. I usually leave myself some extra bleed on the artwork & that sometimes is really all I needed. Glossy paper is slippery, but matte paper is less slippery if you wanna try it.

If you’re having trouble lining things up, that’s definitely your paper sliding as it prints. I would see if your printer allows for calibration options. Some printers let you account for the sliding & you can adjust it in a dialogue box (typically in millimeters) so you can measure/account for it.

Hmm.. I use paper from Red River paper co, I think I use a matte 60- something lb weight that is double side printable (that matters lol) and it’s not fully rigid glossy card quality but for tokens to hand out it’s sleeveable and is similar in thickness. I haven’t tried their glossy papers yet.
