You mentioned Beyoncé was the reason why albums dropped on Fridays. That isn't the case. Albums used to drop on Tuesdays due to other countries dropping on Fridays to avoid privacy breaches or data leaks (think back when Beyoncé dropped Renaissance when the album leaked)
