none of this tops my greatest work yet, this masterpiece from my last city Innsmouth, but the bar has been set to be crossed

this is not to say that it's unfunny necessarily although it mostly is, it's more that it's really its own thing entirely esp when contrasted against american dad which is a lot more of a traditional sitcom and is significantly less interesting because of it

it's too disjointed and surreal to really work as a sitcom but it's too cheap-looking and stiff to be a good cartoon

the bar my dad shoots darts at always has some kind of buttrock playlist on so i've just accepted that every Tuesday im gonna be bombarded with Shinedown and Kid Rock etc

he's legit one of my fav dudes to come up the last few years, such a unique approach

satire almost feels impossible in 2025 because the real world is already more absurd than any joke you could write

one of the great Wisconsin legends truly, if you haven't seen Bigger Than Life i cannot recommend it highly enough
