Cracking down on corporate tax dodging will mean billions of dollars in revenue for building affordable homes, creating jobs, hiring doctors and nurses, and expanding pharmacare.

Only New Democrats will build a tax system that works for people—not for billionaires. share.ndp.ca/s/Uq8VSTix

On #TransDayofVisibility, we celebrate transgender and non-binary individuals across Canada. In the face of rising transphobia at home and in the US, we stand united and committed to protecting, uplifting, and amplifying the rights and voices of trans and non-binary people. Now, and always.

Homes should be places to live, not investment opportunities for the ultra-rich.

Jagmeet Singh and the NDP will help people—not housing profiteers—find homes they can afford by reforming the CMHC to deliver public-backed, low-interest mortgages. share.ndp.ca/s/jEpEx2Vu

Workers need to know that we've got their back—no matter what Trump throws at us.

We've got a real plan to build a stronger, fairer and more resilient Canadian economy not just to weather the storm of Trump’s trade war—but for the long-term. share.ndp.ca/s/x9ExVuA2

For decades, big corporate landlords have bought up buildings, doubled rents and evicted people to make profits. And governments – Liberal and Conservative – have let it happen. It's time to ban corporate landlords – add your name if you agree. share.ndp.ca/s/yIQztgGv

If they attack Canadian workers, it's gloves off.

We'll slap a 100% Tariff on his Teslas and give a $10,000 rebate for anyone who buys a Canadian-made EV or hybrid instead. share.ndp.ca/s/eQD5JQsi

Remember, taxing billionaires and large corporations doesnt have to mean that the cost is going to be handed down to the consumer. They can take it out of their record-breaking profits instead. They choose not to and we need to choose to force them to.

Food banks are serving record high amounts of people. The Liberals want you to believe that everything is fine. Conservative think making things nicer for billionaires is going to fix things. We need a government that is working for working people. We need the ndp

How can we expect Pierre to take a stand for Canadians against the trump tariffs, when he's so close to elon.

Today is the national day of remembrance of the Quebec city mosque attack. my thoughts are with the families and communities of those killed. Islamophobia is alive and well in Canada and that needs to change.

If a company can't afford to pay afford to pay their frontline workers a livable wage. They cannot afford to pay for CEO tens of millions of dollars. How does this not make sense?
December 8, 2024 at 12:57 AM
It's not the people in minimum wage jobs causing inflation to go up. It's the CEO's hoarding money. How do some people not see that?

Why is it so controversial to say that if you are working 40 hours a week you deserve to be able to afford a house, your bills and food?
