Remember, taxing billionaires and large corporations doesnt have to mean that the cost is going to be handed down to the consumer. They can take it out of their record-breaking profits instead. They choose not to and we need to choose to force them to.

Today is the national day of remembrance of the Quebec city mosque attack. my thoughts are with the families and communities of those killed. Islamophobia is alive and well in Canada and that needs to change.

If a company can't afford to pay afford to pay their frontline workers a livable wage. They cannot afford to pay for CEO tens of millions of dollars. How does this not make sense?

It's not the people in minimum wage jobs causing inflation to go up. It's the CEO's hoarding money. How do some people not see that?
