It's coming up to what would have been his 100th birthday in April.

From the miners strikes to marching against the invasion of Iraq, he still encourages us all to this day. ✊🚩

thank you for you're continued solidarity Monica 🩷 people need to get a life. and the politicians and pundits that have, over many years, led to this sort of behaviour being seen as acceptable should be held accountable for once

Polls seem to have them pretty close so I think it would really depend on leadership and how things go in the UK in general. The big issue is without a centre-left opposition someone would fill that void and Reform is definitely a threat here in a way it wasnt 6 months ago.

I think the biggest issue could be that with Lab/SNP together it would ultimately only help the rise of some third party opposition such as Reform. I think a minority government regardless of who wins is still the working assumption and likely the best outcome for politics.

Most people are in favour of greater Scottish autonomy, it ultimately depends on what our existing relationship with Britain would be. The painting of "Yes" and "No" voters as polar opposites has really damaged our country's politics over the last decade.

Ultimately I think we need to try to find some consensus on the constitution - even if only temporary - so we can focus on the gross inequalities in Scottish society.

Most Scots agree on the top issues, only British versus Scottish Nationalism has been used as a wedge for too long.

Great to see!

Hopefully Young Labour pushes the government for a better deal for young people, especially on trans rights and access to work - but we definitely need to be more accommodating and inclusive to achieve this. ✊🚩

The key priorities of Scotland have been ignored this year:
🚂 Peak rail fares doubled
🍝 Free school meals scrapped
❤️‍🩹 Record NHS wait times
👵 Social care scandal
📚 Growing education attainment gap
💷 Sky-high poverty figures

Lorna, if you couldn't get those policies when yous were in power what makes you think a government run by John Swinney and Kate Forbes will miraculously start implementing progressive policies? The budget will pass because no one wants two elections, not because it'll be any good.

💕 Congrats Monica! So much progress has been done on your part, but there is much more the Scottish government can do to protect vulnerable women and girls. I'm attending Scottish Labour Womens' Conference 🌹 as a delegate next weekend to push for spiking to be made a separate & harsher offence ✊
