I really don’t think people realize just how important NOAA is. The only reason I can think that the technofacists want the NOAA dismantled is so they can privatize weather forecasting, making it so only the elite class can get weather reports.

That is probably the most terrifying thing I have have ever read. One thing that hasn’t really made sense for me, or “clicked”, is trumps treatment of Americas allies, and the second to last paragraph in the article you linked tied it all together.

Some context. This is over a month old. The 21 workers who resigned were not actual doge staffers, but US Digital Service employees, an actual government agency that was absorbed by doge. In reality, doge is not slowing down at all, and actually just rehired the racist child Marko Elez.
