Alright, decided to abort having my own PDS. My network setup makes it way more complicated, and I couldn’t get my test account to pass handle validation.

All things considered, it’s a simple process, it’s just how I have my network setup (for security reasons) that makes it too difficult for me.

Alright, time to migrate my account to my PDS. Wish me luck.

Probably going to try to migrate my account to my own PDS. Hopefully everything goes well and it doesn’t end up getting lost in cyberspace.

The demo version of Mario Kart: Double Dash contains an unused Game Over screen. Notably, the smoke graphics used here are humorously called "smork" internally. It is unknown if this is a legitimate misspelling of "smoke" or if the word was deliberately spelled in a funny way.

Experimental post: Obscure/Ominous Messages Iceberg
I have compiled a collection of various text messages found in Mario games that appear bizarre or unsettling, using the iceberg chart format. Explanations for each entry are linked in the ALT text.

@manetapp.bsky.social Would it be possible to have a log viewer added to the application? I’m getting the following error and would like to see some details as to what exactly is going wrong.

It could very well be an issue of my creation since I have a web firewall in front of my Jellyfin server.

Since it looks like nobody's talked about it here, Animal Crossing decomp hit 100% game code!

It's been about 6 years we've been at it, based on my old GitHub repos

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, arbitrary many Super Appeal badges can be obtained. "Appealmaxing" by stacking 32 of them makes Mario so incredibly appealing that any audience, no matter how small (a mere 2 Goombas in the post) will cheer him on hard enough to fully restore his Star Power.

This is a really big deal.

The Homebrew Channel developers have taken software licensing very seriously (and its developers continue to do so in other projects), so for that trust to be broken and for libogc to not be willing to make efforts to reconcile the offense is… not good to say the least.
[Wii]

The Homebrew Channel has ceased development. A developer alleges that key figures in the Wii homebrew community stole code from Nintendo and other projects.

"The Wii homebrew community was all built on top of a pile of lies and copyright infringement"
