2. When designing decorations, I consider the character’s background and what they’d typically accept as gifts. In Ryis’ case, he’s a carpenter, so I drew inspiration from beautiful woodturning works. He also works with glass and stone, so I added stained-glasselements behind him.

1. I usually start with a very rough sketch, without knowing exactly what the final version will look like. I add details as I go.
