It's really really fun! In my experience convenience makes it wayyyy easier to practice. "I can just grab it instead of walking 10 feet to" makes a bigger difference than you might expect on getting motivated to, or maybe I'm just lazy lol

Same! Oddly though even though I easily get overwhelmed by noise most of my music taste is highly energetic/chaotic lol (metal, eurobeat, etc). Can listen to it all day lol

Meant it more as I like gear, but it's not my focus is all! Just love guitar/music stuff more in the broad sense so someone who's specifically into gear will know more than me. And yeah think we all have preferences with gear stuff, like why I have my solar is coz it's my fav guitar I've played!

Also should probably throw here that getting "good" at it (wherever you draw that line, and it will probably move) takes forever, don't get discouraged by that! It's normal

imo focus on keeping your technique relaxed, look at differences between what you see new ppl vs experienced ppl doing and look for the why they exist, don't be afraid to learn basic music theory (it's useful for communicating with other ppl, and learning stuff by ear) and most importantly have fun!
