I've been at this a long time, and long ago lost count of how many days I saw little beyond dark clouds. Eventually I learned that it was usually 10% whatever problem started it, and 90% the mood. If I just waited long enough, the mood passed, and the problem either went away, or felt more solvable.

As someone who identified as RW my entire life and still does to some degree, I already get humiliated daily every time I look at the news and see what the rabid buffoons who now dominate that movement are up to. I fully endorse anybody attempting to extract some comedic porn $ from the train wreck.

It's an awful situation and as a business owner I sympathize--I am thankfully not directly exposed to them but if I was it would drive me nuts, and I am exposed to the extent that most of my clients are.

If I was forced to bet it all, I'd bet that they are going to $#@! around with saying there will be 25, 35%, whatever rates to stir the news cycle and give the base a boner but stop short of actually enacting something ruinous because too many US manufacturers are dependent on CA/MX for inputs.

Even if you are someone who thinks there are legitimate issues around reciprocal trade issues, this administration's approach to the issue is idiotic and being done in a way that is actively hurting exactly the businesses it is claimed to help. Muppets and scam artists, all the way down.
