They're voting on not recommending the combined MMRV vaccine, which means parents would have to have a 2nd trip to the doctor to get the 2nd vaccine.
ALL based on 1 study showing increased febrile seizures (1 study also showed NO increase in febrile seizures with the combined vaccine!!).

One of the most striking findings is that in mice with a human ACE2 receptor, when injected with acrivastine (antihistamine) 6 hours before exposing them to covid, these mice 5 days later had very low levels of COVID RNA in lung tissue and nearly no lung tissue changes/damage. That's amazing!

And then for people who want to take T, it claims that if you have ever tried testosterone, you can no longer participate in the women's category? Like, ever?! The wording is very unclear but that's the implication. Even if your levels were never at cis men's levels.

I'm not as surprised about the incredibly strict rules for trans women, but out of everything this surprised me and is a HUGE impact to trans athletes in tennis. Only 4 years after you've competed in your gender identity category can you compete in the other one, regardless of hormone levels!

For trans women, you either have to have testosterone levels at 5 nmol/L or 2.5 nmol/L for 1 continuous year or 2 continuous years, respectively.
If at any time your T levels are higher, you have to restart those 1-2 years and can't compete anymore until the end of those continuous years.

You can see that providers are telling people they can't get pregnant if they're on testosterone (which is NOT TRUE by the way),
because 4% of that same sample said "I believe I cannot get pregnant because I am on testosterone"
This is a huge issue, I did not think it would be this bad.

The actual research report even busts the myth that trans people who go on T become angrier:
"Over time, treated transgender men showed reduced anger and anxiety, whereas treated transgender women were more stable. There was not a significant effect between sex on depression scores"

Fun bit of information: On the same page in the Tr*mp budget bill, they simultaneously rescind "unobligated balances" from the national park services,
and also allocate $150 million to celebratory events related to the "250th anniversary" of the US's founding.
You truly cannot make this up.

Here's an example of trans masculine erasure. There are a number of posts like this, and this person provides two options about Lev that are *both* wrong. People cannot even conceive the idea of a transgender boy. They played the video game 3 times! This was 1 year ago...

Exactly. There's a footnote that cites 12 studies that show improved health outcomes for trans children who use puberty blockers, and only 1 "larger study" that shows the opposite.
They then conclude from this that the improvements have been “inconsistently reported.” Because of 1 study??

If you're super overwhelmed by the news and the number of EO's that Trump is signing, I highly recommend checking out this tracker a person made - potustracker.us
For example I didn't even know this EO was signed. This is also how I found out he is enforcing the Hyde amendment.
