That would be true, particularly 10 years ago. The technical know-how of the newest generation has really changed. Many students that I see come into the program have virtually no mechanical aptitude. It may also vary depending on rural/suburban/urban and the availability of high school programs.

It's here already. I had an industry partner tell me about someone that used ChatGPT's vision mode walk them through how to change their tire. It's crazy how good it is at being able to identify things and help perform tasks.
