lol it’s not a matter of valid or not, but when you have kids, and if you want to have things like pets, grills/smoker/pizza oven - or play an instrument (I’m a musician) you can’t do almost any of that comfortably or legally in an apartment. When I was younger and single, it made more sense

Then you wouldn’t really get it. I’ve lived in about every type of arrangement there is,from section 42 housing, to NYC brownstone to high rise to suburbia. I live in Clairemont in San Diego in a stand alone house and it’s by far the best living situation I’ve ever had. Near beach, school, shops etc
