Got a new job, which means money to buy new toys for myself! I finally picked up something that I've wanted since the day it was announced but never thought I'd have the spare cash to buy, and I'm VERY excited about it. (Perfect timing, too, with the trailer drop.)

New dice! I picked these up while at Otakon this year. Got my first fancy metal set from Norse Foundry (the Vampire Blood set) and our staff-exclusive Ota merch set. The staff set is very pretty but the fact that the D6 has pips and not numbers like the rest of the set is mildly annoying, ngl.

Learning a new craft. I still haven't quite figured out how to get them perfect (there's a reason I photographed them this way, and it's all of the pinhole bubbles on some of the other faces) but I'm pretty happy with how these turned out. (I don't even play D&D, I just like the shiny math rocks)

Currently doing a silly thing with spare bits as an alternative to doomscrolling for an hour or two, and trying to decide whether I like Scourge's shoulder pads or Snarl's better on whatever this nonsense is.

I couldn't pick just one of them, but the Shelf Of G1 Prowls And Jazzes Of Descending Size as a whole is pleasing to my brain in a way I can't really explain, and makes me smile every time I look at them.

Anyway, have a before and after of the ugliest custom I have ever painted. His name is Straightaway and he's vaguely inspired by Circuit's and SG Thundercracker's obnoxious colour palettes. I rescued(?) him from ebay in 2023 after seeing him on there for months, all sad and yellowed and headless.

Finished Slipstream! I had to give her an extra coat of matte spray because the purple and teal are both gloss and nigh impossible to photograph without a ridiculous amount of glare if you don't matte them down a little.

Finished DK-2 Guard and Barricade! Slipstream is actually painted as well, but I'm not happy with how messy she ended up, so I'll be stripping the paint and redoing it.

Got the other half of my Constructicons! I used Bonecrusher's spare purple hands on Scrapper to break up the green on his arms, and kind of want to do something to make Bonecrusher less of a solid blob of green.

Newest little guy arrived! That's half of the Constructicons down, and the other half on the way. I was kind of over Devastator and the Constructicons in general, tbh, but these guys are too much fun to resist.

Finally finished building all my bots, minus the three doubles and the two dino-mode dinobots I'm wanting to trade! That was a *lot* of snapping small parts together. (Apologies for the world's worst photo-my phone is about to die, but I wanted a quick group shot.)
