Co/occurrence rate of autism and adhd and misdiagnosis of SSD v Autism…. makes me wonder if this is could be Monotropic split? Could it be that stimulants are allowing the Monotropic focus to return ?

I acknowledge my privilege. Not everyone has the spiky skill set to be able to fight for the correct care. In hindsight, the saddest thing is I thought this ‘was’ care. I had no idea I was being invalidated and mistreated, misunderstood. Ironically the trauma is what I needed treating, not autism

It took me 30+ years to get the correct diagnosis. I knew I was #Autistic . Once the #EUPD was put on me, nobody listened to a single word I said. Over medicated unnecessarily. Dropped from CMHT as soon as dx. Had to fight for #EMDR and #ADHD dx. Further 10 years to get #PD removed from records

I have concerns about the NHS digital red flag for this very reason
