It’s crazy how people used to react to autism, like ‘oh no, my child got autism,’ almost like it was as scary as AIDS in the 80s. The stigma surrounding it made it seem like a horrible thing. But autism is just a different way of experiencing the world—it doesn’t make someone less valuable.

This argument is hilarious—basically, you choose between having autism or suffering painfully from an incurable disease. I think I'd take autism!
