This is awful news, she is such a huge loss. She did a huge amount for the disabled community and made such a difference in the world beyond too. Thinking of her family and friends, I'm so sorry.

I love it when the BBC reports on the BBC, as though they've never met them in their life. They've started adding a note to their articles saying that the News branch is "editorially independent", but their CEO resigned too so it seems a bit daft in this case. Or in all of them...

It's well known for local wildlife and cats to go missing when the Albrighton hunt go out (T&W council rather than Shrops). They might not 'actively' be hunting anything but that number of riled up dogs specifically bred for hunting makes it almost inevitable for something to happen. Really wrong.
