Rural Saskatchewan is fed a steady diet of low-level rage and subtle BS through their local media. Confirmation bias enables them to believe increasingly polarized info and walls out left-leaning views or narratives that positively reflect the federal government.

This year is very different, with the emergence of Carney and the trump threat. The recent SUMA poll shows the liberals have gained support, threatening CPC dominance in Saskatoon. Sadly, I expect the left leaning vote will be split in our riding and the CPC will win. I wish you well regardless.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m usually an NDP voter and will happily give you my vote if NDP can win this riding. I’d just hate to see the CPC incumbent win again.

How can one can be sure that “The recent sift in polling doesn’t reflect how we vote in Saskatoon”? I responded to a poll saying that I planned to vote liberal and I’m in that riding.

Also, I think it would be great to have representation in the ruling party for once.

I’m in Saskatoon too - so much snow! Right now looking at outdoor photos from elsewhere in Canada feels like peering into the future.
