Buying 1st mom Xmas gift & the cashier asked about recipient. I explained I was adopted 60 years ago. Turns out she was #adopted as an infant from Russia. Her A-mother said she shouldn’t search. 30+ years in reunion, I said, “Even if not what you hope it’s essential to be whole.” #blueskyadoptees

Heard about the push for safe haven #baby boxes in my state. So babies can be dropped off anonymously to spend a lifetime never knowing their truth. Worse than the plight of closed record infant #adoptees. #adopteesky
