I still hate The Power of the Doctor ending for The Doctor/Yaz.

The slightest whiff of a queer Doctor and they cop out with the 'I can't fix myself to anyone' (hello, wife in Gallifrey and River Song)speech in Legend of the Sea Devils.

What's legal in the U.K. is not always right & what's right is not always legal

From the control of our right to protest, criminalising of peaceful opposition to genocide, removal of LGBTQ+equalities to unfair working/financial practises increasing wealth disparity

ROYAL COMMUNICATIONS Thursday, 30th October 2025 A STATEMENT FROM BUCKINGHAM PALACE His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him. Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse. ENDS

In a surprise to no one, Israeli has recommenced it's genocide of Palestinian citizens, despite a 'ceasefire' being agreed and hostages being returned.

Israel is the very definition of a bad faith actor, they have repeatedly broken ceasefire and peace agreements.

When an author says they're writing an all female cast #sapphic romance, it means exactly that

Of course, novels capture systemic misogyny in society. They are after all reflections of the society we live in.
Women who are 51% of society, the majority of readers, but male character wins 🤦‍♀️
Article from New Scientist. Why do some novels captivate generation after generation, while others hit bestseller lists upon publication, then fade away? A study suggests the answer may partly lie in the structure of their words and sentences. Past research has explored the content that makes some books become bestsellers, with an affectionate male character often being a winning factor, but little is known about what contributes to a novel still being popular a century later.

As quickly, slowly, badly, well The preposition shows relation. As in the street or, at the station Conjunctions join, in many ways, sentences, words, or phrase and phrase The interjection cries out 'hark! I need an exclamation mark!'
