That makes a lot of sense, the idea that the place sets the rules for how they’re allowed to want each other is really compelling. It explains why the intimacy feels so charged. Do you ever choose a setting specifically because of the constraints it creates?

It feels very true to life, sometimes rest saves you, sometimes it feels like the wrong choice even when it isn’t. That kind of hindsight tension is great for character depth.

That mix is perfect. Chosen pauses show who they are; forced ones show what they’re made of. Those moments of decision under pressure are so revealing, do they ever regret stopping, or pushing on?
