Unpopular opinion:
As authors, we all want our work to be flawless & perfect. But the imperfections we despise prove our humanity. When we break the rules (intentionally or not) it adds to the human element of our art. We need to give ourselves a little more grace & focus on celebrating the beauty.

Happy Independence Day! This year it is especially important to remember the basic rights of all human beings set out by the Declaration of Independence that we celebrate today—including the right to revolt against destructive governments.
