Just read the NHL Tie-Breaking procedures for determining playoff positions. Dozens of criteria. Then, if hockey results don't decide it, they move on to Figure Skating, Rod Hockey, Home Run Derby, Slam Dunk Contest, Flag Football, Gymnastics, Synchronized Swimming, One-Day Iditarod, and Iron Chef.

re: boycotting Amazon (good) being a detriment to indie authors, I keep hearing the argument that reading enough on KU costs Amazon more than what you pay for the subscription— Amazon always has sold books at a loss, and I promise that they do not care. that's exactly what they want to happen.
