Definitely from the nonprofit. We had one years ago, right after ACA became law, and the coverage was more substantial than through a large insurance company. Plus, the customer service people treated us like people, not numbers.

Beowulf is certainly an example of this; Beowulf is in the bog, underwater, having no trouble breathing, but the magic sword that has never missed its mark doesn't kill the bog demon....Early literature like Beowulf or the Song of Roland are strange to modern sensibilities.
