I did that for 38 years, so I absolutely know that dance lol. I finally sat down with myself and figured out a method to get me to STOP that cycle. But you WILL get better at editing/writing with all those rewrites (which IS definitely progress). Good luck! Hope to read your book one day!

I successfully procrastinated on finishing my debut novel for the past 38 years, even though I wrote and/or studied writing every day in that time period. I decided to stop waiting for my current WIP to write itself. Tomorrow. Today I found BlueSky and am "working on my writing platform."

I don't think I'd ever be able to leave work lol.
