I have been on Internet forums since 1993. In all that time, I have learned a rule: sarcasm doesn’t work in text. Your readers shouldn’t need to wonder if you’re joking. Just say what you mean, unambiguously.

There are not enough minutes of actual gameplay in an NFL football game, and not enough games in a season, to reach any kind of meaningful result in a Super Bowl. Enjoy the commercials!

It's literally a topic in any first-semester Macroeconomics course: A tariff increases the price consumers pay, not just for products from the country hit by the tariff, but on all foreign and domestic substitute goods. Trump's tariffs will raise prices across the economy immediately.

Someone in the press needs to get him to explain this belief he has about water getting diverted from the Pacific Northwest to California. This is beyond a misunderstanding. It’s not simply uninformed. It’s flat stupid, if not insane. How can anyone see this as anything else?

He can’t understand complex systems. He likes simple explanations. He has never had to be smart. He was born rich and has lived his entire life surrounded by people who were paid to do whatever he says while telling him how great he is.

Can a president-elect override a law passed by Congress and signed by the sitting President and upheld by the Supreme Court? Seems like the sort of thing that Republicans would lose their shit over if a Dem had done it. Welcome to Fascism.

The game clock in football (American) is ridiculous. Makes the entire sport look like a joke. They spend 40% of the game standing around, then suddenly the last second is a 12+ minute judicial review with cops involved (ASU v BYU)
