I was diagnosed as autistic at 36 years old.

Annual Halloween reminder: If someone comes to your door for candy, give them some.

It doesn't matter what age they are, what they look like, if they have a costume, if they can say "trick or treat" or not... give them candy.

Don't judge. Be kind.
Make them happy.

"Kids don't need safe spaces. They need to face the real world." says the tough guy in his khakis, beer in hand, at the BBQ, surrounded by his best buds, with whom he can share things that he doesn't feel safe talking to anyone else about.

How exactly does this guy think autism enters the brain? And where does he think people's brains are?

"There was no autism in my day."

Sure there was but back then you called people the r-word, slow, unfocused, anti-social, weird, freak, or any number of other derogatory terms. Or you just didn't see them at all because they were separated off into other classes or institutions.

I decided to write a bit today about why I, as an autistic person, have a unique appreciation for KPop Demon Hunters. I, too, have tried to hide my patterns and the colors in my head.
My demons are a part of me and I need to accept that.

I am honoured and filled with sense of imposter syndrome as I see myself being shared in an author spotlight. I am very happy to have been given a chance to contribute and share what I've done.

I think we all have the potential to change the world.

Many top scientists are on the autism spectrum.
So technically, autism causes Tylenol.
September 24, 2025 at 2:13 PM
The only way you can blame Tylenol for being autistic is if one of your parents happens to be named Tylenol.
September 23, 2025 at 5:23 PM
Regardless of what the current US administration would like you to believe, autism is NOT caused by Tylenol, which first came on the market in 1955, while autism was first described in 1911.

Anhedonia

Life is pretty heavy these days, a lot of us are struggling, we're doing a lot more surviving than actual living. If you find it difficult to really enjoy the things you used to enjoy, it may be because of anhedonia.

It's not just you.

Do you think Reed Richards, of the Fantastic Four, could be on the autism spectrum?
Personally, I can see it. What do you think?
