The Canucks are the hockey team equivalent of Tyler Myers. A lot of fun and really exciting at times, but the chaos can be insufferable sometimes

I was behind the net we shot twice at. At some point during the second period, he came back to defend and got a stick tap on the left wrist. He went back to the bench holding his stick in his right hand and shaking out his left wrist

It's crazy to think that moving Woll could be seen as making a trade from a position of strength but is that how you find your 2C beyond this season?

8 straight games without playing to their identity but the team is winning. Do you wait and hope they figure it out or do you try to make some sort of change?
Also... Woll is due a new contract. With Stolarz and the kids playing well, could Brad be ruthless and trade Woll while his value's high?

Of course, that's far too specific to put too much thought into. Truthfully I hope we keep Boeser, he's clearly a big piece of the room. If he wants too much though, Allvin would probably cut bait before the TDL.

It'd be an interesting deal because we don't *need* prospects right now unless they're NHL ready. Our window is the Hughes contract. There could be a 3 way deal to flip the prospect🤷♂️

It'd be an interesting deal because we don't *need* prospects right now unless they're NHL ready. Our window is the Hughes contract. There could be a 3 way deal to flip the prospect🤷♂️

Sorry, that'd be assuming you can get an extension for Brock upon a trade being made. You seem to need star-power up top, and Boeser fits that mold as a 2 way F who can score. Maybe Byram+Cozens is too optimistic, but if we move him then we need to get better around the base of our lineup, yk?

Especially after dealing Mitts for him last year. Would probably need a similar level forward to that in order to make a Byram trade worthwhile. I wonder if there's a Boeser+ for Cozens/Byram deal to be had if Canucks can't get a contract extension done by the deadline? Seems to fit both teams needs

I know he's not really available for trade, but it'd be nice to get a guy like him to help push the pace on the back end; especially with Hronek out for the foreseeable future. Used to watch him play quite a bit when he was with the Giants and I remember his heart always being there.

If you want a stylistic comparison, Hughes plays the Hronek role of stabilizing and allowing his partner to roam, while Myers is essentially a less talented rookie Quinn Hughes. Not sure how it’ll work long term, but it’s pretty clearly the best chance to stop the bleeding with Hronek out

At times Toch would put them together when he would juggle all of his lines. Metrics haven’t been as good as the HH pair, but they haven’t been horrible. Hughes is less dynamic on this pair because he has to babysit, but Myers gets a little more leash to generate offence.

Tbf he knows the players. He broke everything to do with Torts being fired in Columbus, didn’t he? Miller’s not being dealt for obvious reasons but we already know him and Petey aren’t “besties” lol
