If youre gonna put on muscle you gotta put on weight, it just comes with the territory. Looking good though! Remember its a marathon not a sprint, progress is unfortunately slow but its worth it.

And this is not to say that voting alone is enough, its the bare minimum. But if you cannot do the bare minimum what can I expect you to do?

I mainly view voting as a litmus test for someone's ability to politically organize in the long term. Casting a vote is easy, political coalition building is much harder. Why should I expect someone who cannot do the easy thing, to be helpful with the HARD task?
