Great aurora show for the first time since October for me! Was also nice to meet up with @chimneybrick.bsky.social again! This video contains all my timelapses from when the aurora started to brighten all the way to the substorm.

Took my telescope out into the cold tonight and was able to capture #Andromeda pretty well despite the light pollution. Absolutely love #astrophotography. Still waiting for a chance to head to less light-polluted skies. #deepsky #photography

Incredible frost last night/this morning. Almost a leaf-like pattern as the ice spread out. When I went outside last night at ~32°, I could hear the ice forming on all the surfaces around me, was quite cool. #winter #wxsky #Photography

Almost that time of year for me to try deep sky #astrophotography again. This is my attempt last year at #Orion nebula under Bortle 5 skies. Hoping to get another attempt this year with light pollution only 25% as bad.

While looking back on the mostly overlooked October 7th geomagnetic storms, I found this image that stuck out to me for how nicely the #Aurora is reflecting off my car. Wish I had the foresight to angle the car a bit more and get more of my windshield showing... #photography #wxbsky
