At this point, it’s sadly no surprise—Trump picking Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an outspoken anti-vaccine activist, for Secretary of HHS is a slap in the face to all Americans. This is the person who’d lead our health policies, despite years of pushing vaccine misinformation.

One takeaway from my undergrad health policy class: An interview from rural Kentucky where residents slammed Obamacare, calling it communism, yet praised the Affordable Care Act w/o realizing they’re the same thing. This shows just how critical it is to simplify, clarify, & connect in our messaging.

Trump’s cabinet picks are wild. Rubio for Sec of State brings a semi steady hand, but Gabbard for intelligence and Gaetz for AG? That’s like hiring foxes to guard the henhouse. National security and justice aren’t areas for risky experiments. This isn’t about party—it’s about keeping America safe.
