In a way to indicate how the games landed in the Top 50, let's look at Peak Concurrent Players. The highest reached 39,770, while the lowest reached 151. Those are both outliers so the median result of 1,019 may be a decent goal to strive for. (6/7)

Multiplayer (both competitive and cooperative) was the most popular genre, accounting for over 32% of the Top 50 and 70% of the Top 10 (80% if you count Windblown's single-player only demo). (5/7)

68% of the Top 50 do not have announced release dates, with the other 28% having announced release dates in the next 3 months. 6 of those actually launched within a one week span around SNF. (4/7)

Outside of one game who launched their page within the month of SNF's start, every game in the Top 50 had at least 2+ months of building wishlists with a live product page. The median length of time that a being 228 days or 7.5 months. (3/7)

Contrary to typical marketing advice, 40% of the Top 50 performing demos launched day and date with Steam Next Fest's start. On the other side of the scale, Matchmaking Inc's demo has been live for 473 days, showcasing that no demo is too old for Steam Next Fest. (2/7)
