The GOP since Newt Gingrich attacks public schools & teachers. Destroying from within & then privatizing gov't services is the GOP's 40-yr playbook. "Non-profit" charter schools are a Ponzi scheme run by parallel for-profit entities paid with our tax dollars. Charters are NOT available to
all kids.

I lost sweet Frank the Tank, all 30 pounds of him, 12 days ago. He was a gentle giant who didn't know his own strength. He was anxious, hid a lot, & had few cat-like reflexes due to a maternal virus. I once found him stuck upside-down in an open drawer. He was a challenge, but I

A book about SCOTUS I cannot recommend enough is called, "An Autobiography of the Supreme Court," published in 1963, much of it in the Justices' own words, from the Civil War to mid-century, words that are elegant, intellectually robust, decent, and, most importantly, faithful to the Constitution.

Me climbing up a windmill on a ranch when I was 4. Despite the extreme danger out-of-touch Trump says is posed by windmills, I'm still alive 61 years later. I doubt Trump knows that windmills are common on ranches & farms in the U.S., & in other countries like the Netherlands & Don Quixote's Spain.

The "sandwich guy" is a much-decorated USAF veteran who did a tour in Fallujah. He served for free speech. This is the kind of problem that arises when an idiot prosecutor (J. Box o' Wine) charges an American with a crime with zero investigation & for political reasons. The Military Times took note.
