For the first time in a while I got to work on a small, self-contained python module and so far the AI code seems way better.

Unfortunately most projects are a lot more than a single module so hard to see AI coding tools being useful for more than autocomplete in writing enterprise applications.

Not necessarily a bad thing, but if you’re not paying attention then you won’t be able to make an intentional, informed decision about tradeoffs.

I share these concerns. Where I’ve found success with cursor so far is in autocompleting repetitive changes that fall outside the scope of a linter, such as applying the same structural modifications to a bunch of similar objects. Especially useful for writing tests.

Any particular reasons why you chose to leave Arc for Safari? I’ve been using Arc for some day to day tasks but wouldn’t consider myself a power user or totally sold on it yet.
