It def was very manga. Both she and Duffy have said they were inspired by early (in the US) manga/anime during their run, particularly in the design of the Nagai.

If Castaway had been on too my dad powers would have been unstoppable.

I did catch like the last ten minutes of Skyfall before A Few Good Men started, but that's not really mid-tier.

My elementary school library definitely didn't have the Search for the Unknown batch - never seen those before!

Have you ever found any of these in the wild (outside of, like, eBay and whatnot)? I always keep my eyes out when I'm checking out used bookstores but I've never actually found any.
