@ovistoica.com I've added initial support for selecting playback rate. The main issue is that the selection is not "sticky", and you'll need to select it for each video you play (which may be the right thing anyway, but I haven't had time to think about it much). Let us know if this works for you!

They were swapped left-to-right, so instead of directing snow to the impeller they were pushing it to the side.

Definitely read Pynchon, Dodge, and Wolfe, and I think a few others. I want to look at your list in more detail when I get home; I've never been hooked by Le Guin, but I want to be. I'll probably take up the challenge then, too.
