No. A Member or any Congressional employee must be 62 with five years of service to claim retirement. At 51, any employee needs 20 years of service.

No, she does not. She would have to be 62 with 5 years of service, or 20 years at her 51. Her pension at 62 will be $15,600. She will never be a full retiree with benefits.
